Great News!

We got this fabulous dress in the mail today! Unfortunately, it doesn't fit
anyone in our family as you can see (since Lincoln was Maegan's bobby-pin). I guess we just give it to the DI.

They're Communicating!

Possibly the funniest video we have made to date...and we didn't have to do any editing. This one only works if you can hear it.

If you get the "this video is no longer available" message it means YouTube has simply not fully uploaded it. Give it a few minutes (maybe 60) and try again.

And Sara's Prom Dress Is:

I personally thought it should have been number 4, but number 3 is a good choice.

Maegan's Movie Review

This weekend Brian and I went to see an excellent movie that we recommend to everyone. Amazing Grace is rated PG and covers the Abolitionist movement in late eighteenth century England. The story and characters are fascinating and inspiring and the movement of the film is engaging. The film made me feel as if I had just read a good historical fiction.

Jeff will love this because it focuses on Parliament and the kind of politics he just became enamored with. Abby will love this because a wholesome romance is included and the hero is dashing. Dad would love this because the love interest is a redhead. Kath and BJ will enjoy this even if they still see as few movies as they used to. This one actually is uplifting and inspiring and doesn't feel covered with Hollywood cooties and values that sometimes make other PG films disappointing. I think it is only in select theaters and I don't how long before it goes to DVD.

By the way, this is my first actual posting as you can tell by the lack of pictures or fancy anything. Brian has been ghostwriting on by behalf because everytime I get on the computer a sensor goes off on the kids and they come and attack me. In fact, they have just shown up. Go see this movie, you will not be disappointed! Especially if it means a date night free of the kids:)

B-Day Video

Happy Birthday Katherine. Here is a good video of us making fools of ourselves for your entertainment.

We are the Champions!

Brian's church basketball team won the Bountiful Regional basketball tournament. This was between 8 different stakes. His team (18 to 30 years old) dominated everyone with the exception of the final game which came down to 3 free throws.

Brian's Post Game Comments:

"My strategy was to remember that I am a has been
athlete and that in the odd event I found myself with the basketball to pass it
to the two guys on our team that played college ball. Sometimes I would
forget this simple rule and put up a 'prayful' 3-pointer. Intermittently that
pray was answered, usually it was not.

The greatest part about it was that I got the same T-shirt as the guys on our team who were actually good. Its like a free snow cone."

CHOOSE SARAH'S PROM DRESS!!!

The Blogger Poll to your left
will let you choose Sara's Prom Dress. She has committed to wearing which
ever dress has the most votes. They all cost relatively the same and
remember THEY ALL COME IN DIFFERENT COLORS. For more more information and pictures click here.

Each Computer can vote an unlimited number of times. (Sorry, Sarah, but you can't vote.)

For those un-hip to shopping, listening to Jack Johnson's Banana Pancakes (play bottom on bottom of right margin) makes this experience much more enjoyable.

The Camera is Stolen

The result of learning how to take pictures with the Camera. Brian and I were suprised to find them on our camera along with a number of black fuzzy pictures with a couple of toes.

Lincoln in the Spotlight

Here is a fun picture of Lincoln in front of his Christmas Present from his Dad: a circus puppet show.

Not for sure what the lips are going out like that for, but they are.

BYU John Beck To Johny Harline!

Just Incase you all missed it. This is worth watching over and over and over. (And Over.)

A fan perspective. I just love this and have watched it at least 100 times. (No Joke)

Chariots of Fire Video with the Cousins

Another Video. We were very bored this night.

BYU fightsong and Coming to Town Medley

Our Annoucment Post

To some it’s by mail box,
Few others by board walk,
Groups receive this letter by modem.
From Chile to Russia
Kansas, Alabama
All soon will be getting this Poem.

‘Tis not our announcing
Jack Bauer is pouncing
On bombs he’s about to defuse.
And we soon go to Asia
Without Paying Mullah
Besides that we still have some news!

That Baby is walking
And Quite close to Talking
All worthy of a great report.
But there’s something more
We ain’t told you before:
And no we’re not summoned to court

While Lincoln is smarter,
Computers for starters.
It’s a struggle to get him to rest.
He is more excited
News to be confided
Will not change his title of ‘Oldest.’

Though Truman Means Danger
And Red Power Rangers
And hoping the cougars will win;
His stomach is shrinking
And he can’t stop thinking
‘Bout the news that isn’t ‘bout him.

Brian is trying
To increase our Tithing
In a somewhat round about way.
Rhyming expressions
And Potter soon beckons
Of conquests there’s little to say.

Maegan is cleaning
Sometimes close to heaving
Her children she can’t but Adore!
On kids she’s researched
Relax time is at Church
Only soon outnumbered by four

We have hit no jackpot
Are still not the big shot
But the bubbly you now can uncork.
To tell you firsthand
Before Maegan Expands
Our Hint: it’s brought by a stork.

We are not the Jesters
Wait three Trimesters
While surprising it was no mistake.
Heavy with Child
Maeg’s growing with Style
In the oven there’s a bun to be baked.

Her Belly is Pooching
Yes we are alluding
For dinners you soon volunteer
One more Tax Deduction
A dramatic production
Allow us to be very clear:

Come this September
We will add a member
That’s making the Duryeas Six.
Presidential for sure
Yet the genders obscure.
And soon we will show you some pics.

Zoo Day

So we went to the zoo yesterday (Tuesday the 28th of March). That creature behind Lincoln is a Monkey (You can click on these pictures to make them bigger).

About the Zoo, Lincoln says verbatim: "We look at animals. What happened. There was ahh, umm, ahh, like ahh, um, it was an uh....there was no Zebra's today because it was winter. And there was no elephants and rhinos out today because it was winter. Only the animals had a lot of fur like the bears but they were sleeping. But the penguins were in their cage laying their eggs. Then we saw penguins that weren't swimming and they were like WIGGLING. And like scratching their tummies and their neck. The end."
That about sums it up so we have nothing to add.

In the dark of night, Truman loses his "night night diaper" from the time we close the door and he falls asleep. How or why this happens we have yet to find out. According to Brian, it is nothing that duct tape can't fix. We will keep you updated.

We were under the impression that Baby Einstein Movies would make him think like the great physicist not so much look like him.

In reality, a combination of bananas, a handful of cherios, a few minutes left alone, two older brothers who drive us all crazy and Jefferson quickly looked like Maegan and and I feel.

Inspried by his cousin Cade who he chilled with over the holidays, Jeffeson is refusing that we cut his hair until Bar Mitzvah age.

When he gets cleaned up we have little to complain about. Especially when he glues himself to Baby Einstein as he is in this picture. Isn't that glazed I've-been-wathcing-TV-for-hours-look so adorable.

Officially off of infant food, Jefferson now drinks Whole Milk like a calf and sleeps for about 16 hours a day. Can we get a Hallelujah!
