Questions for Mom and Dad
Sorry my email is not sending or receiving today, who knows why, so I thought I would post my questions for you.
1. I have a package of pills for you Dad. Mom your friend sent you some pills, vitamins or something through the Church Office Building and they sent them here. I was wondering if perhaps I am not supposed to mail these kinds of things through them, and if not, do you just want them when you get here, or do you want me to send them to Texas?
2. I have some of your mail I am planning on mailing to you.
3. Do you have the recipe for Frappe like we drink for New Years? And the recipe for that yogurt pie you used to make?
4. Thank you so much for the blessing dress, it was beautiful. She looked like a baby doll if you ask me. We will post pictures soon:)
Fall at Wheeler Farm
We spent the day at the farm a few weeks ago with Will, Audrey and Laura. Lincoln managed to get bitten by a duck and a pig! He was not that scared when I said ducks don't have teeth, but later after the pig bite, he asked if they had teeth and was not happy when I confirmed that actual pig teeth had nibbled at his fingers. He probably won't be sticking his fingers into any more animal cages.
McKinley slept the whole time, she is so nice to me:) Jefferson was amazed at all the animals. He loved feeding the ducks and they loved the huge pieces he would "throw". Truman was very excited that he got to ride on a tractor and to see horses. They are his favorite. The weather has been great for this kind of thing and I had a good time chatting with Laura as our kids ran around crazy.
Autumn Activities
The boys are obsessed with jumping in big piles of leaves, so we borrowed our neighbor's yard and raked a nice pile of leaves for playing "cowabunga!". If not outlide, the boys jump off the couch onto a pile of pillows. And you wonder why Jefferson has a goose egg.

Jefferson
Lincoln has discovered climbing trees and spends time in his tree every day. He is the only one big enough to get into this tree, so Truman has been assigned to the other tree in the yard. Poor Jefferson watches, points and grunts his desire to be in the trees too, but my rule is you have to be big enough to get yourself in and out of the tree if you want to climb. No broken bones yet, cross your fingers!
Spooky Halloween Fun
The boys went to two Halloween parties before the big day. Jefferson was a hit as a teddy bear. He wanted to wear his costume at all times and would crawl around and growl at us. He doesn't know how to say very many words, but one of his most clear ones is now candy ("canny"). Truman was a ninja and had his swords confiscated more than once and Lincoln was black Spiderman to the first party and to school, but when Halloween came he had found a dinosaur costume Mike and Jess gave us and decided to switch it up. He and Truman still dress as Spiderman at home some days. McKinley wore a pumpkin hat and ghost shirt. What can I say, the fourth child gets no costume at this age:) I guess it is what Lincoln wore for his first Halloween too.
The highlight of my Halloween was seeing Jefferson chase a donut on a string like a mad man. He was running in circles as fast as he could with his mouth open for five minutes! It was hilarious! I also enjoyed hearing the boys say "trunk or treat" to all the people handing out candy when we went to Gramere's ward trunk or treat. We also enjoyed visiting the pumpkin house with the Elggrens where we saw a hundred exquisitely carved jack-o-lanterns.
Hope you had a spooky and fun Halloween!
Bonked and zonked!
Jefferson Fell earlier today and got this gigantic goose egg on his head...you can see it there in the picture and it is pretty bad.
