Fall at Wheeler Farm

We spent the day at the farm a few weeks ago with Will, Audrey and Laura. Lincoln managed to get bitten by a duck and a pig! He was not that scared when I said ducks don't have teeth, but later after the pig bite, he asked if they had teeth and was not happy when I confirmed that actual pig teeth had nibbled at his fingers. He probably won't be sticking his fingers into any more animal cages.

McKinley slept the whole time, she is so nice to me:) Jefferson was amazed at all the animals. He loved feeding the ducks and they loved the huge pieces he would "throw". Truman was very excited that he got to ride on a tractor and to see horses. They are his favorite. The weather has been great for this kind of thing and I had a good time chatting with Laura as our kids ran around crazy.

That fall time at the farm makes me very homesick. That doesn't really make sense since I've never lived on a farm, I know. It was so fun to visit with you guys. We'll have to plan another trip soon. We'll miss you at Christmas for sure.
