Brian went straight to work after the good news about changing jobs. To impress his boss he put in 14 hour days and even worked Saturday. His hands and body took a real beating, so he was glad to have a Sunday to rest from his labors. I even got to help here and there - can you guess which design element I chose? We are all very impressed at Brian's handiwork and his amazing stamina. If this is what certain unnamed individuals meant when they said he was "not handy" I will take it! Today his first project was completed and we are blogging it for posterity...
Tell us what you think...unless you don't like it then don't say anything. So, if you don't comment we will just assume you don't like it. :)
Here are 4 days of work pushed together in a slide show of about 1 minute.

Okay if I was one of those "individuals" who said Brian wasn't **handy** - I eat my words. This looks like a professional job - it is stupendous, marvelous, beautiful, awesome and very pretty. Love the pics on the wall. Three Cheers for Brian and Maegan and all their hard work. Hip Hip Hip Hooray!
Love ~ Your humble individual.... (Gramere)
Um
Wow.
That looks really good. Really really really good! I was just telling Mom about your endeavors. I can't wait to see all the other plans go into action...
WOWZERS! I'm not sure that's a word you're supposed to use at my age, but I cannot help it. That looks amazing! I have to admit that halfway through the slide show I was a little nervous because that wall looked awfully purple -- but it looks sensational with the tile and the pictures and everything. It really does look professional. I'm seriously impressed.
WOW WOW WOW!! I'm seriously so impressed. When I saw the purple wall, I thought: That's my girl, Maegs. And it turned out soooo cute! The pictures up there, the new tile, everything is just soo soo soo impressive. I can't believe you guys did this yourselves. Way to go! I bet you smile every time you walk through your front door. :)
xoxo
that looks great... good job guys! (Is Brian really not handy? Could have fooled me by this project. Because Ryan is REALLY not a handiman, for sure, but maybe there is hope.)Anyway, what other plans do you guys have? I can't wait to see them!
That is amazing. You guys do a great job. I'm lucky I got the bushes trimmed before summer.
WOW-E-WOW! That looks amazing! Great work!
Well done, Brian! Did you say you got a new job, because if you didn't, you're hired! We could use some handy work around our house. Great job. Love the pictures of the kids.
Purple . . . glad to know my old friend hasn't changed. It looks great! I love it with the flooring and the pictures. Wow, I can't even imagine being personally so brave to tackle a job like that. Way to go Brian!
I cleaned the furnace filter in the shed the other day. You and Courtney are very lucky women.
